- Next, key in your preferred UPI ID and select the “check availability” option.
- Check whether the ID is available or add other digits to the new ID to make it unique.
- Recheck the details and click the “confirm” button.
- Once satisfied with the new UPI ID, set it as default to continue.
- Select the “primary” tap and choose the UPI ID to set as the primary UPI ID/VPA.

- Open the Google Pay app on your device and enter the login details.
- Select the profile option “Logo or Photo icon.”
- Next, select the “settings” tab to proceed to payment modes.
- Click “bank account” and choose the related UPI ID.
- Press the “manage UPI” tab and select the UPI ID attached to your account.
- Now, click “+” and create a new UPI ID, and select “next” to confirm and complete the process.
